Well that is really strange because I have an iris 2000 and 3000 and I use them in my office as well as at home. I talk to my customers, friends and family members with a clear picture. I even have customers that have video phones in Canada who talk to me and I see them clearly on my video phone. Aslo a friend in Kuwait has one and he talks to everyone here in the states. I guess everyone I know is lucky?
